I had to drop off her supplements and I wanted to say hi. She made a noise at me lol.

I go to a concussion clinic tomorrow for the lingering symptoms. Nausea, visual weirdness with certain things, and headaches. The most annoying thing is the visual shit because it makes my work hard because text gets fuzzy and warps after looking at it for a while. Being outside in the day is fine as long as I have sunglasses on, so I can safely drive while the sun is out. I do it as little as possible though. Driving at night is a big no-go. Drove a little at night on Saturday and it was awful. Almost had to call my parents for a ride at one point. I pulled over and closed my eyes for a few minutes and that reset everything and I was able to get home.

I am hoping this vision bs can be fixed. I’m worried I did permanent damage to my occipital lobe because that’s the part of my head that hit the ground.

My hobbies are also limited. I can’t play video games very much or look at memes for long, so I’ve gotten back into drawing and doing cross stitch.

Dang that sucks! I’ve heard it can take ages for the brain to heal from injuries. Hope your symptoms get better soon.

The visual issues you’re describing sound like ocular migraine symptoms, they don’t always come with pain. Taking more frequent small breaks from the screen might help too. Be kind to yourself and give yourself time to heal :)

People don’t always appreciate the potential seriousness of head injuries. And unfortunately it doesn’t take a long fall to become serious.

Hope you’re able to get the medical care you need.
