Today is my best friends birthday. He would have been 50. Sadly he died on the 7th of this month.
Here one with him with my son who will turn 21 in March. He was always a good uncle to my kids.
This was the last time we saw him in person. He had been living in a nursing home for last three years. With him is my middle son.
Though we couldn’t visit often (we live so far away) I spoke on the phone with him almost everyday.
I will miss him, he was best friend a guy could ask for. Won’t ever have other like him.
just passed 3 years since my best friend died. I don’t think about him everyday, anymore; but I think I miss him more every time I do.

I lost my best friend some years ago too. It is a brutally difficult thing to emdure, and I am sorry for your loss, stranger.
That said, it is lovely to see you honoring his memory. I dont believe in the afterlife, but if I’m wrong on that, I’m sure he’s happy to see you sharing how much you care :)
