I made a couple of small errors but dammit I did it. I bought it for my birthday almost a month ago, to see if I had the dexterity in my addled hands and brain, and the answer is, I do!

No art pictures on these, I just built a predesigned wooden model kit, no real creativity, just instructions and endless dexterity rolls.

Don’t know if it was intentional, but the way the sky blue really pops in the first photo really makes it seem like the scene is naturally lit by the sun

That’s too cool, man. Too cool. Happy for you! I’m going to have to check these out for myself now!

Slaps. Great job. I’ve been thinking about doing one of these for my library, was it a good project?

It was challenging, and I broke a few bits, but there were always replacement pieces of the ones most likely to break.

I tried to fix an error and snapped a piece I can replace, but it’d be six hours of work to dismantle the thing and put it back.

      I have a replacement though.

I think I’ll have to concede and get a friend with a full suite of working hands and fingers to help me with the teardown. It’s quite demoralizing to see that.

My wife and I have done two of the book nook kits now. Trust me when I say making it an evening activity for two halves the difficulty.

The one you have done looks amazing - IMO the mistake work.
