it could be an homage, but it’s not “nazi style” any more than a toxic chemical label is a Nazi style “Totenkoph”

it needs to have flat tops and bottoms to be “SS style”

    Fuck ice, etc.

I don’t see what NS split by a lightning bolt would refer to other than National Socialist - eg literally claiming affiliation/support to the Nazi party.

It is possible its something else and just incredibly bad fortune and an incredibly ignorant person who wouldn’t get that connection is wearing it - but given the context that it’s ICE… I’m leaning to it being a nazi dog whistle to other like-minded ICE officers.

Regardless of how bad it is, the lightning bolt is clearly intended as nazi shit.

They’re not good at making swastikas either, but no matter how deformed they still count as nazi shit.

You need a bit of mental gymnastics to go “oh but the style is such and such, therefore it is not nazi sign”.

I know fuck all about nazi styles and to me this looks like a nazi n⚡s, proclaiming that he is a national socialist.

      He IS A FUCKING NAZI.

Edit: another point to add. If I was a dumb racist scum turned nazi, since I know fuck all about the ‘original’ nazi styles, most likely I would come up with some shit like this, that delivers the message but is not in the original style.

Remember, ICE agents are not smart or educated people that would know much about original nazi styles.

EDIT: Since these chucklefucks won’t touch the word “socialist” with a barge pole, it’s more likely his initials.

The full name of the Nazi Party was Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (German for ‘National Socialist German Workers’ Party’).

I know what “Nazi” means dude. There are a zillion things to criticise about these people; rest assured when they put nazi shit on things, it’s more obvious. Criticize and obsess over the right shit. That’s the whole point

What’s the difference between a nazi sign and a sign that is homage to Nazis?

According to you, one of them is okay, but not the other one?

One is that the sign itself actually resembles a nazi sign, and not other objects, and the other is something that is designed to emulate the ideas of nazi signs, without resembling them.

Both are bad. I don’t feel I have to actually point that out, but here I am. My goal with the comment here is to make you guys perceive reality and not jump at everything you see.

the probability of randomly selecting someone with the initials “NS” is 1 in 676, or approximately 0.00148 (0.148%).

Conservatives think Tylenol causes autism… Do you really think they have an eye for brand styles? Come on… Can we stop being intellectually dishonest?

Neil Smith? It’s common for things to be marked to differentiate them in groups where the exact same thing is given to a bunch of people.

Really, that’s what you’re gonna go with, his mom tagged his helmet with his initials so he doesn’t lose it at Camp Fascism this winter?

That ICE agents, notorious for hiding their faces and identities, are now leaving clues on their helmets as to who they are for the Scooby gang to solve?

These dudes get boners hurting brown-skinned people in front of their families, they want to look frightening. It’s more than likely some slogan, like NEVER SURRENDER, with a lightning bolt because yeah, he saw it on some Nazi gear and thought it looked tough AF. Oooh, he didn’t flatten the tops and bottoms!! Like he’s effing Michaelangelo or something. Like these dudes are going to draw anything OTHER than lightning bolts, lol.

What a weird hill to stand on. Hey, watcha think about this image I found on Facebook by searching Google for “Never Surrender”.

What do you think these dudes will “never surrender” as they raid minority neighborhoods? Think they mean THE FATHERLAND or something?
